Prayer of Surrender and Hope
From me to You,
Lord Heavenly Father,
I come to You just as I am - weary, broken, and often afraid. I confess that I cannot carry this burden alone. I have tried to numb my pain in so many ways, but today I choose to give it to You.
Jesus, I believe You love me. I believe You died for me, and I believe You are strong when I am weak. Be my strength today. Remind me that I am Your beloved child, forgiven and never forgotten.
Holy Spirit, fill me with Your peace. Heal my heart, renew my mind, and restore my joy. Teach me how to walk by faith and not by sight. Show me how to love myself as You love me, so I can love others in a healthy way.
Lord, I release control. I let go of what I cannot change and place it in Your hands. Step by step, help me reclaim my life in You.
Thank You for never leaving me. Thank You for giving me hope and a future. I trust You with my life, my healing, and my tomorrow.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Breath Prayers for Moments of Craving or Overwhelm

Examples:
• Inhale: “Jesus, You are my strength.”
Exhale: “I cannot do this alone.”
• Inhale: “When I am weak…” Exhale: “…You are strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
• Inhale: “Father, I am Your child.”
Exhale: “Hold me close.”
• Inhale: “Holy Spirit, fill me.” Exhale: “With peace and hope.”

Morning Prayer of Surrender and Hope
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this new day. Your Word says Your mercies are new every morning, and today I choose to receive them. Yesterday’s failures are gone. Today I begin again with You.
Jesus, I invite You into every part of this day - my thoughts, my feelings, my cravings, my decisions. Be my strength when I am weak, my peace when I am anxious, and my joy when I am weary.
Holy Spirit, guide me step by step. Remind me of who I am in Christ: loved, forgiven, and free. Show me that even the smallest victories matter and help me to see them as signs of new life being restored.
Lord, help me to walk by faith today, not by sight. Keep me close to You. Teach me to love myself as You love me and give me the courage to face this day with hope.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Who I Am in Christ – Declarations of Identity
Say these out loud — especially when shame or temptation rises: • I am God’s beloved child. (1 John 3:1)
• I am forgiven and free from condemnation. (Romans 8:1)
• I am loved with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)
• I am never alone — Jesus is always with me. (Matthew 28:20) • I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)
• I am free, because Jesus has set me free. (John 8:36)
• I am being renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16)
• I have hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Final Word of Encouragement Recovery is not about trying harder — it’s about trusting more. Jesus has already carried your past and broken every chain. He calls you His beloved, and nothing can separate you from His love. This is the beginning of your freedom story.
