Detox With Jesus

Where Love Restores and Freedom Begins

A Safe Place to Rest, Heal, and Discover Freedom in Christ

Love, Hope & Healing for All

Life is the greatest classroom, and my journey has taught me this: freedom and healing come through Jesus. It’s not about obeying a biblical ‘rule’ to NOT judge or criticize, it’s about learning to LOVE without judgment and without criticism. It’s about loving others as we love ourselves - accepting each other as we are, where we are, while God begins His healing work in us.

Heart Note to the Individual

You are not your addiction. You are not a label or a statistic. You are deeply loved. Jesus came for the brokenhearted, the weary, and the forgotten—and that means He came for you. This space is for your healing, your hope, and your freedom.

Heart Note to the Family

Addiction shakes the whole family. I see your pain, your exhaustion, and your heartbreak. You matter too. Your voice, your wisdom, and your healing are important here. You are not to blame, and you are not alone. This space is for you, too.

Heart Note to the Community

It takes a compassionate community to help someone break free from addiction and the cycles of codependency. How we choose to love and support individuals and their families today will shape the health of our communities for generations to come.

Where Heaven Touches Earth

“In my Father’s house are many rooms… I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2–3). This site is like that house—with open doors and safe rooms prepared for you. Whether you’re struggling with addiction, loving someone who is, or serving as a professional, there is a place here for you to rest, heal, and discover freedom through love.”

About Susan Hopkins

I’m  Susan. My journey has taken me  through  brokenness,  healing, and  freedom in Christ. I’ve  walked alongside  families facing addiction, brain injury,  and  trauma, and  I’ve  seen  both the pain of silence and the power  of     love. Detox with Jesus is born  from  those experiences— created  not   from  theory, but  from lived  witness.

Come as You Are!

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

Join the Movement

"Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40).

You don’t have to walk this road alone. Let love restore you, and let freedom begin.

A vibrant orange butterfly with black spots rests gently on an open hand.

The butterfly reminds us that transformation takes struggle — but it is through that very struggle that new wings grow strong. What once crawled in the dust takes flight in beauty and freedom. In the same way, Detox with Jesus is not a quick fix, but a pathway to lasting transformation.

So whether you come weary from addiction, wounded from codependency, or burdened as a caregiver, hear this truth: Jesus is enough. His love restores, His Spirit empowers, and His freedom begins here.

Addiction doesn’t just wound an individual — it scars families, shatters trust, and strains entire communities. Recovery isn’t only about breaking habits; it’s about rebuilding lives. And rebuilding lives requires many hands.
