Life is the greatest classroom, and my journey has taught me this: freedom and healing come through Jesus. It’s not about obeying a biblical ‘rule’ to NOT judge or criticize, it’s about learning to LOVE without judgment and without criticism. It’s about loving others as we love ourselves - accepting each other as we are, where we are, while God begins His healing work in us.

You are not your addiction. You are not a label or a statistic. You are deeply loved. Jesus came for the brokenhearted, the weary, and the forgotten—and that means He came for you. This space is for your healing, your hope, and your freedom.

Addiction shakes the whole family. I see your pain, your exhaustion, and your heartbreak. You matter too. Your voice, your wisdom, and your healing are important here. You are not to blame, and you are not alone. This space is for you, too.

I’m Susan. My journey has taken me through brokenness, healing, and freedom in Christ. I’ve walked alongside families facing addiction, brain injury, and trauma, and I’ve seen both the pain of silence and the power of love. Detox with Jesus is born from those experiences— created not from theory, but from lived witness.

Shared Stories
Our mess is His message! Here you will find real stories from people who have faced struggles like addiction, codependency, loss, shame, and brokenness — and who are learning to find hope and freedom in Jesus. We know how powerful it is to discover: “I’m not alone. Someone else has been here too.” That’s why we are creating a safe way for participants to share their stories anonymously, so others can connect, learn, and be encouraged.
Meetings
We aren’t hosting meetings here yet - but we’d love to equip you to begin one. With Jesus at the center, families can walk the journey of healing together. Because addiction touches everyone, our resources offer structure and support - so you can create a safe and welcoming space for Christ’s love to bring freedom. You don’t have to do this alone.
